@Robert: Glad to help, hope the campaign is a rousing success. If your friend doesn't have time to GM, he probably doesn't have time to blog either - they both take about the same amount of time to do properly, in my experience (about 10 hrs a week, minimum) - and that's only to post one decent item each week. Of course, economies are possible when the two activities overlap. But if he ever takes the bait (or gets someone else to do the posting for him), I would look forward to reading it - you can never have too many sources of good ideas.

@Brenton: Thanks, and Welcome. Glad to have you on-board!

Another outstanding and informative post, as always. I have only just begun following Campaign Mastery, but I don't think I'll be stopping soon. Thanks for putting this stuff out there.

Love this post, gave me a few ideas to mix in with some of my own "frozen world" campaign premises.

It is great that you are doing this with your throwaway campaign premises. I have a friend that never gets to DM as much as he would want yet he creates fairly detailed homebrew campaign worlds in his spare time, and I have been trying to convince him to make a blog or a wiki or something similar to post all his ideas so they wouldn't just go to waste. Maybe someday he will actually do it and I can link it here..
